What You Can Expect

When we say we will accomplish a project for a certain price by a certain time,
you can count on it, with your cooperation,
of course. We count on you to provide us with essential content and other
components of the design that you want us to use. We will create any additional
text and graphics agreed upon during the design process.
What You Need to Do
We have discovered two things about completing a web design project successfully. Our clients have taught us two important lessons. Here they are:
- Make your web site a top priority. Simply stated, you need to set aside
the time necessary to prepare content. You may need to move other priorities
down the list for a while; otherwise, the job will not get done. We cannot
complete the project without you. When you invest the time necessary
at the start, you will see results much sooner and your web site will
be launched that much more quickly.
- Make a down payment to cover 50% of the total estimated cost. Once you have made a solid financial commitment to the completion of your web site, you are much more likely to set aside the time necessary to complete the project. Knowing that your investment will not pay off without your contribution, you will be more motivated to schedule your time accordingly.

In the early days of our business, we allowed clients to defer the entire cost until after the job was complete. We thought it would be good for our business, and theirs. What we discovered was otherwise. Fortunately, what we learned helps us both to sustain and grow our businesses — to achieve our goals better and faster — which truly is a win-win situation. By making your site a top priority and making a down payment up front, you will make greater progress toward letting your site work for you.
Your Cost
Your cost will depend on the amount of time needed to complete the design. For example, if your ideas are very clear and your content and images are provided in final form, it is possible to create a 6-page very simple design for only $600. However, most clients need more help with various aspects of the design, so projects typically range between $900 and $2,500.
Before we begin any design project, we would determine an estimated price range based on preliminary information that you provide to us. During the project, we will keep you advised with respect to cost and what is required to bring the project to completion to meet your constraints. We will only revise the cost for completion if the scope changes significantly or if the project requires a great deal of special formatting, graphics, and content revisions.
